Found objects hold a special appeal for me. I come across so many discarded objects that initially seem useless, but with a bit of imagination they can be rescued and re-purposed into a whole new meaningful existence. For me that makes the medium itself a wonderful metaphor for the human condition. I started making pieces as mobiles once I ran out of wall space, then just enjoyed their whimsy and movement.
